About Our School

S.M. Memorial School was established in 2022 and is named in loving memory of Smt. Shakuntla Devi and Shri Mahatam Singh — the beloved parents of our Founder & Director, Shri Ramendra Singh. The school stands as a living tribute to their values of knowledge, hard work, and selfless service to society.

Located in Ramnagar, Harinagar, West Champaran, Bihar, we are a CBSE-affiliated institution offering both English and Hindi medium education from Nursery to Class X, with Class XI & XII proposed. Our school places special emphasis on Science and Mathematics, nurturing analytical thinking and problem-solving from an early age.

With 350+ students and a dedicated team of 35+ staff members, we provide a safe, modern learning environment equipped with Smart Classes, Computer Lab, Science experiment setup, a safe playground with swings, CCTV surveillance, RO drinking water, and a canteen — ensuring every child learns, grows, and thrives.

Policies

Fee Rules & School Diary

📋 Fee Rules

Fee should be paid on or before 10th of each month.
After 10th, late fine of ₹5/- per day will be charged.
Holding fees in arrears after second month will not be accepted. Name of defaulters will be struck off the roll after 15th in the second month.
Re-admission will be as per the school rules.
Pupils shall not be allowed to sit for examination unless all fees are paid up to date.
Fee once paid is not refundable.
Parents are requested to send the exact amount of fees as the school cannot be responsible for loss of balance amount.
Small children should not be entrusted with the payment of fees.
Fees for the months of May & June are payable in May, and fees of February & March are payable in February.
Fees are accepted as per the timings fixed by the school.
The fee counter will remain open during working days at school time.

📓 School Diary Rules

Every student must carry their school diary daily
Homework and important notices are recorded in the diary
Parents must check and sign the diary every day
All communication with school should be through the diary
Lost diary must be replaced immediately from the school office
Diary must be kept neat and clean — no scribbling allowed
Absentee notes must be written and countersigned by parents
